AI Safety is a global initiative present in several countries, dedicated to advancing the safe and responsible development of Artificial Intelligence.

AI Safety Brazil exists to connect professionals, researchers, entrepreneurs, citizens, and policymakers who are committed to building a national ecosystem for ethical, safe, and human-centered AI.

Our mission is to educate, inspire, and implement practices that ensure AI is developed and used responsibly, transparently, and in alignment with human values — contributing to Brazil’s social, technological, economic, and environmental progress.

We address the full spectrum of AI safety: from applied concerns such as ethics, bias, interpretability and biosecurity, to frontier AI safety challenges including alignment, governance, systemic risks, and catastrophic-risk scenarios. This creates an environment for learning, collaboration, and responsible advancement of AI.
